Additional guidance will also be provided to other participants to help them launch and develop their emerging agricultural projects.
The competition witnessed significant participation, with 380 projects submitted. A total of 26 projects were selected, involving 43 young men and women who benefited from an intensive support program comprising five training and mentoring sessions, along with access to UM6P’s labs and technical resources to enhance innovation and develop entrepreneurial skills.
This initiative is part of the Agricultural Development Agency’s efforts to promote entrepreneurship in rural areas and advance climate-smart digital agriculture, with the goal of modernizing the agricultural sector and preparing it to meet future challenges.
Participants expressed their deep appreciation for this initiative, which provided them with the essential tools for their projects’ success, including advanced laboratories, model farms, and high-level scientific and technical support. This support is part of the agency’s broader efforts to foster an environment of innovation and entrepreneurship in agriculture, enabling young people to transform their ideas into concrete projects that contribute to the sector’s development and its future challenges under the ambitious “Green Génération” strategy.
