Liswati Minister Sees Morocco as Agricultural Development Model…

 The Kingdom of Eswatini’s Minister of Agriculture, Mandla Tshawuka, stated, on Wednesday in Meknes, that Morocco has made considerable progress in the fields of agriculture and technology, highlighting that his country “has much to learn” from the Moroccan experience.

 In a statement to the press following a bilateral meeting with Morocco’s Minister of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development, and Water and Forests, Ahmed El Bouari, on the sidelines of the 17th International Agricultural Exhibition in Morocco (SIAM), Tshawuka praised Morocco’s progress in several fields, such as agriculture, irrigation and water resources management.

 He also pointed out that Eswatini undertook a major agriculture development program, adding that Morocco’s experience in agriculture programs could be beneficial to his country.

This meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss cooperation prospects between the two countries, especially in agricultural production and efficient irrigation.

Organized under the High Patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, this year’s SIAM, attended by 1,500 exhibitors from 70 countries, is held under the theme: “Agriculture and the Rural World: Water at the Heart of Sustainable Development.
